Being a ground floor self-catering holiday rental apartment, all our rooms at Ellen’s Garden are on one level, making it the ideal choice for those with limited mobility.
What’s more, all of our rooms are furnished and equipped to the highest standard; we are proud of our approach at Glorious Glastonbury Holiday Homes of equipping our properties as though they were our own homes – in fact, some of them have been – so we’re confident that you’ll find Ellen’s Garden to be a really comfortable place to relax.
Our bright and airy living room at Ellen’s Garden is furnished with large, soft and comfy sofas that are perfect for sinking into after a long day of exploring the sights and sounds of Glastonbury. The living room also contains a large, Flatscreen colour TV with Sky+ satellite and a DVD Player, plus a selection of DVDs to keep you entertained on a rainy day afternoon when you don’t want to venture past the front door.
The open plan living space also has a roomy dining area set apart from the main lounge, with sufficient room for 6 people to dine in comfort and style. Furnished with a dining table and chairs, it provides an extra space for families and friends to relax and eat together, play a game or just sit and read the paper, all whilst still being together in the one place.
Ellen’s Garden also has a full sized kitchen, set apart and yet still enclosed within the open plan living area.
The kitchen is incredibly well appointed, with all the appliances you will need In addition to all the usual appliances, there is a cooker, microwave, toaster and anything else you may need to whip up a top class meal, plus sufficient crockery and cutlery to feed your whole brood easily.
Ellen’s Garden has one double bedroom and a connecting dressing room with a single bed, this room also has it’s own door to the hall. The connecting door can be left open to provide one large family room. A maximum of three guests can be accommodated in the bedrooms but if three people wanted to share then there is a folding guest bed which can be used in the living room.
Our master bedroom at Ellen’s Garden is bright and cheerful room with a double bed. There is also plenty of storage in the form of a wardrobe and a chest of drawers/dressing table.
Connected to the master bedroom but with its own entrance door to the hallway is the dressing room containing a single bed, wardrobe and a lift up dressing table/desk area. This room is primarily a dressing room which can make a large airy family room or a private second bedroom. I should point out there is no window in this room, there is a fan and two doors.
Ellen’s Garden additionally has a good sized family bathroom, consisting of a bath, a shower, a sink and a toilet.
