Our smallest and cheapest apartment is in Oriel Drive which is just across the road from Morrisons Supermarket and only a short level Walk to Magdalene Street in the town centre. We don’t take young children in this apartment, we worry too much about the possibility of a fall from an open window and we also feel that it’s not fair on the neighbours beneath us – little kids like to jump! The most popular and lovely thing about this holiday home is the wonderful view of Glastonbury Tor. You also get a view of the supermarket if you go and stand at the window but if you’re sitting down then the Tor in all its majesty is framed by the window. This home isn’t suitable if you have any mobility issues, it’s on the second floor and we don’t have a lift. Electric heating keeps everywhere warm and cosy.
The accommodation comprises: A living/dining room, a fitted and well-equipped kitchen, a double bedroom, a single bedroom, and a bathroom. Outside there is a small garden shared with the other apartments in the building and ample private parking for two vehicles.
The living room with view of the Tor. There is seating for three guests and a couple of foot stools to put your feet up and relax. The sofa is a sofa bed so if we have three guests who don’t want to share a room then the sofa bed provides the extra bedroom.
